About Us
We are the voice of Union County’s businesses and a welcoming first stop for those who want to live, work or visit here.
Come see why so many people choose to call Union County home.Come Here, Come Home
A community with deep roots and room to grow
Union County, Tennessee sits just 15 miles north of Knoxville, with a deep emerald lake nestled in the shadows of the Appalachian Mountains. It is home to legendary musicians such as Chet Atkins, Roy Acuff and Kenny Chesney, and to families with deep roots and an appreciation of the area’s rich cultural history.
The Union County Chamber of Commerce exists to share that story. We introduce the county to people who are looking for a place to settle, to businesses looking for a place to grow, and to travelers who want to enjoy the parks, waterways and shorelines that make this area so special.
Significant growth in recent years has been directly linked to the growth of infrastructure such as water and broadband, to the development of upscale lake communities and to the abundant natural beauty that attracts people seeking a mild climate and a desirable quality of life.
Our members are local businesses and organizations, spanning professional services, health care, shops, restaurants, marinas and more. Together they help make Union County open for business, and we are proud to represent them.
Day to day, the Chamber is a neighbor as much as an organization. We answer questions from newcomers, introduce business owners to one another, and help visitors find the best of what the county has to offer, from quiet coves to small-town main streets.
Growth is welcome here, but never at the cost of what makes the county special. That balance between opportunity and open space guides every project we support.
